After last week’s sizzling new episode of THE GAME, tension remains high between Melanie (Tia Mowry Hardict) and Tasha (Wendy Raquel Robinson) as their private feud turns public. Fashionista Ne Ne Leakes guest stars as herself, and actor/comedian Kel Mitchell portrays a friend of Chardonnay’s (Brandy Norwood) that helps Jason (Coby Bell) to come to some unexpected life realizations. Meanwhile, with Malik (Hosea Chanchez) on the bench, Derwin (Pooch Hall) steps up to help the Sabers adjust to having a new quarterback.
Happy Holidays Everyone “How To Make A Christmas Card For Jesus” is the latest video that I have posted and this video has been such a blessing it has showed me so much about God’s love and what happens when you truly listen when God gives you something to do. I was giving this video idea from the Holy spirit when I was driving in my car and I had the song “You are the one” playing, a song by my friend Travis Greene. I felt God’s love in the car and God gave this video to me as a gift. The concept just started to unfold in my heart. The idea was for me to go to random people in the streets of Los Angeles and hand them a bible with a big red bow on it, take a picture of them then put the pictures together to make a birthday card for Jesus. As the song played I could see the edits and camera shots this was truly from God. When we would walk up to people with the bible and tell them the concept people really thought it was fun to be part of a birthday card for Jesus and to show love for him we had good conversations with everyone. One women took a pose with her Mother and told us she just opened up a church in Ventura, Ca because God spoke to her and her husband to do so, they dont even live in Ventura but she was trusting and being willing and obedient to God, and she is trusting God to bring members. So she told me to continue to listen to God and act on his words. My fiancee and I enjoyed speaking with her.
We did have some people decline but that did not stop us but I did let my flesh jump in at one point while shooting… while we were downtown there was one person that I wasnt going to have take a picture because I thought to myself “he might not get it, he does not look like he knows Christ and he is going to say No” that was a very judgmental comment I made, plus I work in helps ministries and I speak to everyone I come into contact with about Christ I don’t know why I thought that I guess it was the fear of him saying No and me being embarrassed for asking but God does not give us the spirit of fear and I needed to be adjusted. at that moment my fiance came up to me and said “Jesus might be trying to teach you another lesson by you doing this video and that lesson is not to Judge people by there outer appearance and to walk up to everyone that God ask us too, no matter how we fill or what they might say” I thanked her for letting God use her to tell me that and I asked for forgiveness from God and then started to walk up to everyone we felt we were lead to. It was a Blessing! so many folks that people would not think that they had a love for Christ… actually did! and the ones that didn’t we spoke to them about Christ love.
We had one guy say “You might not want me in the picture I might catch on fire when I touch that bible” We told him God loves you and if you want to take the picture you can and know he is there for you. He took the picture and had a great smile on his face we did not judge him for the comment he made about himself thats between him an God he needs to asks God for forgiveness if he feels he is not living right to the point he thinks he might burn up by touching a bible, people make mistakes but Christ is always there when you come back to him with open arms and love. He is a God of second chances and he loves everyone of us we just must believe and be willing and obedient. I pray that.. that guy does start to follow Christ and his word because he was so nice.
It was such a great experience sharing God’s love in the streets of Los angeles with everyone…
Later that day there was a girl that had tattoos all over her body and red hair and she worked at a punk rock store I walked up to her and told her the concept of the video and she said..”That is so cool that your doing that for Christ…I know that I don’t look like I love Jesus but I do so very much” she then picked up the bible and gave the best smile ever!!! she is one of my favorite people in this video.
I was like this video is going to speak to so many people. the next day was the edit process which was Christmas eve and everything would not work I had a drive freeze up on me a camera delete photos I stopped and prayed to God I did not panic I knew that this video needed to be made and I will not stop because God gave me this idea and it has a purpose. It was late but the drive started to work and for the photos that was deleted I just used still frame shots from the Cannon’s Footage and printed out those so I could paste them to the Birthday Card canvas I was making. when I was doing the artwork on the portrait and filming my self reacting to the birthday card unfold on screen, I was filled with God’s love and tears of Joy came out. the faces on every picture and the hearts we met all loving him just felt so good! God’s love will always comfort you. and for the ones that don’t know Christ but are looking for his love will be touched by seeing God’s children showing love to his son! It just brought tears down my eyes. And I was thinking of how much Jesus loved us that he died for our sins so we can have eternal life and even though so many of us still sin He still loves us! And so many of us flip out about gifts on Christmas and not once think or thank Christ for all he has done for us and continue to do in our lives. Wow! look I’m just moved by this whole process and first and foremost Thank Jesus for this video and I thank everyone involved and a big thank you and blessings to the people that let me and my fiancee film them and take there pictures. On Christmas morning I showed it to my fiancee and she cried with joy too and gave me a big hug. We showed it at church and it was a moving moment and touched so many hearts in the room and we had a great service that morning giving God praise and honoring the one and only King JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.
